I absolutely adore this song and think this is one of the most beautiful ballads ever, sung with such emotions that I have goosebumps everytime I hear it, especially when Michael sings "it cuts like a knife" - that is always killing me... I love its rather subdued and gentle atmosphere, no crazy phrasing, just a simple straightforward interpretation of the inner feelings with a real sense of sorrow. A perfect example of how singing right from the heart can be magical without outscreaming your microphone...
